A little about me

I’m Jordi.

I live in Berlin and work as a Product Engineer at Kombo. Most of my week goes into building product with the team.

Before engineering, I worked in SEO and growth at companies including ViscaWeb, HappyScribe, Skale, and Datarade. Over time I started writing more code: first to automate parts of my work, then to build my own ideas. I studied web development at Le Wagon and eventually made it my day job.

Outside work I still like trying things. Sometimes that’s a small app, sometimes a script or an AI workflow that saves me a repetitive task. I also collaborate on independent projects when they’re a good fit for what I know.

My journey

2016 - 2018

Niche websites

I started in SEO building niche sites monetised with Google AdSense. A very hands-on phase: WordPress, content, affiliate marketing, and a lot of trial and error. That's where I learned to read data and understand what truly drives traffic and conversions.

2018 - 2020

Technical & international SEO

I specialised in technical SEO at ViscaWeb, focusing on North American markets. I went deep into web architecture, performance, indexation, and scalability - in projects focused on North American markets.

2020 - 2021

Product-led SEO & automation

At HappyScribe I approached SEO with a product mindset: processes, automation, and data-driven decisions. That brought me closer to the engineering team and to building tools myself.

2021 - 2023

Skale and Datarade

At Skale I worked with larger SaaS brands, going deeper into advanced organic growth strategies, content, prioritisation, and reporting. Later, as Head of SEO at Datarade, I led strategy and execution end-to-end.

2023 - 2024

From SEO to web development

I expanded my technical profile by training in web development (Le Wagon). I wanted to be able to build the tools and ideas I had been thinking about.

2024 – Present

Building product at Kombo

I work as a Product Engineer at Kombo, mainly with TypeScript. Outside work I build tools, try AI automations, and collaborate on independent projects.

How I tend to work

Where I start

I like understanding how something is done today before changing it. Many of my tools start with a task I keep repeating that could be simpler.

How I use AI

I use it to build and automate: writing code, connecting tools, and trying ideas. I’m interested in what it lets me do in my everyday work.

What still interests me

SEO and growth are still part of how I think. Alongside building something, I like understanding how people find it and why they use it.
